iconmobile wins ‘Best Mobile Advertising Campaign’ for Ford Taurus at the 2013 Mobies

iconmobile are proud to announce that our Ford Taurus rich media mobile ads have won 'Best Mobile Advertising Campaign' for the Middle East at the 2013 Mobies Awards.  The award recognizes a strong collaborative partnership between MEC Interaction, Team Detroit International and iconmobile group.

After being selected as one of three finalists, the Ford Taurus mobile campaign has won the 'Best Mobile Advertising Campaign' for the Middle East at this year’s Mobies Award.

“Great experiential advertising lets people come close to a product without having it in their hands,” said Thomas Fellger, CEO of iconmobile.  “We’re very proud to be recognized with our outstanding partners MEC and Team Detroit by the 2013 Mobies Awards for our groundbreaking work with Ford – working together to let customers experience the new Taurus directly on their mobile devices.”

The campaign created a showroom experience for users showcasing the latest features of Ford's SYNC in-car technology solutions, available in the Taurus model. Through the App, Ford was able to leverage the engagement benefits of a mobile touch interface to grab attention and then provide a wealth of content to their users, all at the point of contact.
